Shanghai Gems & Jewelry Association (SHGJA) was founded in May ,1996, It is organized by  Shanghai  Geology ,Light Industry ,Business & Trade and Cultural Circles. According to the running association policy of " more combine, larger union”, which laid by the president of SHGJA-Liu Zhenyuan and Preparing team. It mergines the exploring, science, processing, trading, cultural and teaching together. Being an enterprise unit which includes exploring, processing, producing, business & trade, science & education, training, authenticating, evaluation, information and artifact collection of gems &jewelry .It is a non-profit group legal person that formed by voluntary people.
